One of our tenants is The Befriending Scheme, which runs the Red Rose Community Farm from near the Lindsey Red Rose.

Friends Community Farms with coloured hands forming a circle around the writing.

"Red Rose Community Farm offers a safe and supportive outdoor learning environment which is accessible to a wide range of vulnerable individuals and groups, such as adults and young people who have a learning disability, children who have special educational needs and their families, and people struggling with poor mental health.

"Offering the chance to learn a range of transferable skills and engage in meaningful activities, members can gain a recognised qualification if desired. Activities include: animal care, growing plants and vegetables, cooking and team working. All of this whilst building friendships." (from their website)

They're always looking for volunteers to help with the farm but have a special push on at the moment. They're holding a coffee morning where you can find out more about volunteering.

Come along to our coffee morning at the farm to find out about the work we do at The Befriending Scheme, chat to current volunteers and have a tour of the farm.
