Calves Wood

Heathpatch are committed to establishing open canopy woodland.

A substantial project was started in the 1990’s to plant trees at Calves Wood, Whatfield, previously arable ground.

​

It is now not only regenerating itself as a wood but is supporting a wide range of interesting botany such as orchid populations.
