As part of Heathpatch and the farm’s commitment to supporting biodiversity and the reduction of carbon emissions on the farm 15,000 trees were planted in 2020. All planting from 2020 onwards has or will be registered with the Woodland Carbon Code. We were very pleased to win a UK government contract to sell carbon units generated (or CO2 captured) by our five year tree planting programme through to 2026.
