Suffolk Show Ready!

Well nearly. There's a few last minute journeys to Trinity Park, Ipswich, to set up machinery displays and beer kegs but all the logistical plans are in place and we can't wait to see you at the Suffolk Show on the 28th and 29th May!

Everyone at Heathpatch loves the Suffolk for many reasons. It's our main local event, our farm is our passion and we love bringing together our best teams from our subsidiaries. This year we'll have inspiring displays from Global Machinery Solutions, CamdenBoss, Cogent Technology and Nedging Hall Estate, with of course Suffolk's oldest brewery, Mauldons - there might even be beer to taste. And that's just on our stand!

Although the Suffolk Show is traditionally an agricultural event celebrating Suffolk's heritage, culture and industry, these days it is billed as a "Family Fun Day Out", with something to interest all the family. Have a look at the "100 Things to do for Free at the Suffolk Show". Even if you're not connected with farming, the Suffolk Show is a great day out for everyone.

Here's a little of what you can expect from the Heathpatch Stand:

The Global Machinery team can’t wait to welcome visitors to the stand and chat about how each impressive machine can benefit their agricultural, farming and forestry operations. This year they are showcasing a Pronar Pro S.1 recycling shredder, Norwood HD38 sawmill and Pezzolato drum-fed biomass woodchipper – along with a range of SANY excavators and telehandlers.

Managing Director, Charles Buckle, fresh from his success at the London Marathon, has been a driving force in setting up the Heathpatch Stand and is looking forward to hosting. We're sure he will also have organised some sampling from the famous Mauldons Brewery.

And if you really want to talk about farming, we can do that too - with 50 years of harvest behind us. We manage over 4,000 acres of arable, grassland and woodland in Suffolk with the help of our partnership under Brett Vale Farming Company.
