A crown for The Crown!
Our popular hostelry, The Crown, in Bildeston has been named 'Pub of the Year' in the Norfolk & Suffolk Magazines Food & Drink Awards. When you think there are around 1,300 pubs in total across the two counties - that's pretty impressive!
Well done to The Crown and to Nedging Hall Estate. We're very pleased that The Crown's estate-to-plate ethos has been recognised through this award and has highlighted The Crown as one of the best places to dine in the area.
Speaking at the awards evening, general manager Jackie Ha said: “It’s been a very difficult year for the industry, so to even be nominated is an absolute honour, and to win it is really special for us. We’ve worked really hard and we’ve got a fantastic team.”
The Crown is a great village pub offering top-class local food, great service and comfy rooms. All their staff played a part in this award; from serving drinks to preparing food, from greeting guests to cleaning rooms, and everything in between. You all count. Thank you for your contribution.
