Heathpatch are delighted to announce that The Befriending Scheme and its Community Care Farm are now in residence.
The charity and Heathpatch Farm teams have worked tirelessly throughout the winter preparing the site, moving animals, putting up fences, building animal shelters and installing two portacabins.
The Community Care Farm is a place for people with learning disabilities, those suffering from ill mental health and vulnerable children and families. It's a space for people to feel safe, find friendship, and enjoy an outdoor environment whilst learning about horticulture and animal husbandry.
We hope that the charity finds a happy home with Heathpatch and that all its guests will enjoy their time on the farm.
