As part of the conservation management of the land around the farm we ring baby owls in the farm's nest boxes giving each an unique ID number. They are then registered with the British Trust for Ornithology which helps us and the BTO build a detailed picture of Barn Owls in the area.
We are starting a five year project to set up 30 new nesting boxes and enhance what is already on estate.
