Farming Diary: What happened to the April Showers?

If you’ve spoken to any farmers lately, you’ll know there’s been a familiar theme this April, we need more rain!? While the dry weather has made life easier on the workload front and we've all enjoyed the sun, it’s a mixed blessing as crops are very keen for some moisture.

Olly’s insightful Farming Diary this month reflects that balancing act, with good early progress in the fields now giving way to more careful, weather-dependent decision making. There are plenty of positives, but the dust clouds tell their own story.
